Update

I think it’s about time for an update from Hyphenation Productions.

Not much has been going on.  Ideas come and go.  Sometimes they are amazing ideas, other times not so much.  Once a good idea comes, it starts getting worked on, but then gets lost in my mind and may never be found or at least finished.

I have, however, been working on a dubstep song for the past few days.  This is the first dubstep song I have made, so it is taking awhile to be finished, but it is coming along.  I have all these ideas for it in my head, but it’s hard to put it down on paper (well, on tracks).  I have to create new instruments and the such, most taken from Youtube tutorials.  However, it should be done soon, but you probably won’t get to hear it until I film a video to go along with it, which I am going to do probably as soon the the song gets finished.  I think you’ll like this.

Also, I’m going to be interviewing Me, the Nomad (ex-vocalist of Halifax) this Saturday, so I’ll probably be uploading that interview within a week from then…hopefully.

Other than that, screenplays are being written, songs are being written, but nothing is going to be finish for awhile.

SUCO Rock Combo Battle of the Bands

I just realized I never got around to posting this video here yet, so here it is.  I made this along with Ian Jacobs for my Videography & Digital Editing class last year.  It’s an eight minute documentary about a class that SUNY Oneonta offers, called Rock Combo, which puts on a battle of the bands every semester.  Check it out, let me know what you think on the YouTube page or here.

Also, I’ll eventually get me interview with Jon Devoto (Bird By Bird) online.  I forgot about it.

Graham Colton Interview

I just posted my interview with singer/songwriter Graham Colton from March 12, 2011.

Check it out below, or read more about it, along with the transcription, here.

Honor Bright Interview

I just uploaded my in-studio interview with pop-punk band Honor Bright, who are currently signed on Triple Crown Records.

Listen to it below, or read more about it, along with the transcription, here.

Upcoming Interview

Tune into WONY 90.9 FM Oneonta this Saturday at 11am EST to hear an interview with singer/songwriter Graham Colton.  If you can’t listen to it live, I’ll be posting a recorded version and transcript here in the days following.

Also, my old Honor Bright radio interview will be posted soon as well, stay tuned for that.

Stream WONY online here.

Check out Graham Colton here.

And while we’re at it, here’s a music video a amde for Patent Pending’s “One Less Heart To Break” for a videography class in college. Check it.

[old] Frank Turner Interview

My very first interview that I’ve conducted haas just been posted.  It’s from back in 2009.  It’s with British singer/songwriter Frank Turner, who is currently signed to Epitaph Records. Listen to it below, or read the transcription here.

Welcome

Welcome to what is currently going to be considered the official website of Hyphenation Productions.  Here’s a lowdown of the site:

The front page here will be mainly used for news and the such.

All (well most) of the interviews I do with various artists will be posted under the Interviews tab about.

I’ll post reviews on albums and concerts (along with photos) at the Reviews tab, which is also found above.

Everything else is pretty self explanatory.

Thanks for stopping by!
